DESCRIPTION:Explore Nature and the Night Sky on Green Springs Mountain Loop\n\n\nJoin interpretive rangers for a night hike on June 14\, 2026. There will be a new moon on Monday\, so there should be ideal weather. Discover the wonders of the Earth and the stars on a 2.5-mile journey along Green Springs Mountain Loop. Learn about nocturnal wildlife\, local ecology\, and the importance of dark skies. \nMeet at CVS in Ashland at 8:00 PM. The group will return around 11:30 PM. Please remember to bring a headlamp and sturdy shoes for the hike. \nThe Friends of Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument’s mission is to support the protection\, restoration and conservation of the Monument through service\, advocacy and education.
