History

OVERVIEW

The Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument was established on June 9, 2000 and expanded on January 12, 2017.

The Monument is a a biodiverse, ecologically rich and culturally significant region established in 2000 as part of the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management’s National Conservation Lands.

Total Acreage: 114,000
Wilderness: 24,100 acres
Features: Pilot Rock and Soda Mountain Wilderness Area; at the juncture of Cascade Range and Siskiyou Mountains.
